If you’re one of the millions of people who own an Amazon Echo or a Fire TV Stick with Alexa, then you know that it can be incredibly useful. It’s a great assistant for setting timers and checking on weather forecasts, but it’s also pretty funny. From time to time, Alexa will drop little Easter eggs into its responses. These aren’t new features that Amazon is releasing – they just pop up from time to time when Alexa is asked certain questions in certain ways. We’ve collected some of our favorite ones here:

Say “Alexa, play the song that goes ‘Uh Oh.'”
She’ll respond with “Okay,” and then start playing an oldie but goodie from 1966 by the Isley Brothers: “It’s Your Thing.” If you’re feeling especially energetic, you can also ask Alexa to sing along with her rendition of this catchy tune!

One of the funniest Easter eggs is when you ask Alexa to tell you a dirty joke. She will not only give you a dirty joke, but also explain why it’s so funny.
If you want to hear more than just one dirty joke at a time, then try asking Alexa this question: “Alexa, tell me some jokes.”

The answer to this question is not as obvious as it seems. If you’re looking for a funny but clean joke, then Alexa can help you out. Just ask her “Alexa, tell me a dirty joke.”
This will prompt her to say one of her several pre-recorded jokes with varying degrees of offensiveness. If you want something more risque, try asking: “Alexa, tell me an inappropriate joke” or “Alexa tell me a dirty family friendly joke.” Either way, she has plenty up her sleeve!
